We hosted a workshop about possible funding and practical opportunities for research on Wednesday, 9th October, at the 1829 Building on the Countess of Chester Health Park (2.00 – 4.30pm).
Funding opportunities can seem scarce and finding possible sources can seem rather mystifying, especially for more local and smaller scale projects, which can be just as valuable as larger scale studies.
The aim of the workshop was to provide information about possible sources of funding, and to invite a range of presenters who shared their expertise in this area.
We also invited speakers who discussed their own experiences of being successful in obtaining funding, including ones that related to Masters and PhD studies.
