We provide individual peer support for those wishing to pursue applications to the NIHR fellowship and clinical academic training career pathways.
We will be hosting a workshop about possible funding and practical opportunities for research on Wednesday, 9th October, at the 1829 Building on the Countess of Chester Health Park (2.00 – 4.30pm).
Funding opportunities can seem scarce and finding possible sources can seem rather mystifying, especially for more local and smaller scale projects, which can be just as valuable as larger scale studies.
The aim of this workshop is to provide information about possible sources of funding, and to invite a range of presenters who can share their expertise in this area.
We are also inviting speakers who will talk about their own experiences of being successful in obtaining funding, including that related to Masters and PhD studies. There will also be time to ask questions.
If you would like to attend, please book a place by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also feel free to invite colleagues, they will be welcome too.
